LAGOS, Nigeria — The Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Jimmy Odukoya, has officially unveiled his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to members of the church congregation during a live Sunday service.
The announcement comes days after the cleric sparked widespread social media interest by posting a photograph showing two hands bearing rings alongside a brief caption reading, “To New Beginnings”.
Addressing the assembly, Pastor Odukoya disclosed that since stepping into the senior leadership role of the church following the passage of his late father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, in August 2023, he had been walking his personal path alone. He explained his decision to remarry by referencing biblical principles regarding companionship and divine timing.
Further details surrounding the union were shared during the service by Pastor Tunde Bakare, General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, who officiated the marriage blessing in the United States. Pastor Bakare identified the bride as the daughter of Reverend Theophilus and Bolaji Daniel, confirming that she will formally serve alongside her husband as Pastor Mo Odukoya.
The movie actor and ministry leader was previously married to Oluwakemi Banjoko, with whom he shares two children, before the pair dissolved their marriage.
