Controversial social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has refuted allegations of drug addiction following her release from custody.
Blessing CEO broke her silence during an online interaction with Nollywood actress Doris Ogala after regaining her freedom after months in detention. Addresssing rumours that circulated across digital platforms during her time in custody regarding alleged drug abuse and calls for rehabilitation, the media personality dismissed the claims as false assertions by individuals who lack personal knowledge of her lifestyle.
”I don’t do drugs,” she declared. “I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I don’t even party. Most times the internet just has a way of enjoying themselves. A lot of people don’t even know me personally.”
The influencer was arraigned earlier this year by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over separate fraud-related cases, pleading not guilty to all charges prior to her eventual release.
