Tinubu to Headline APC Rallies Across 12 States as Party Unveils Campaign Schedule

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to personally lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign tour across 12 selected states ahead of the 2027 general elections, following the official publication of the party’s nationwide rally timetable.

According to the official schedule released by the party leadership, the President will flag off the nationwide campaign tour in Kaduna State on October 24, 2026.

The three-month campaign itinerary will feature strategic stops in key geopolitical hubs before concluding with a major grand rally in Lagos State on January 9, 2027.Under the structured timetable, the 12 selected destinations include Kaduna (October 24), Rivers (November 7), Plateau (November 14), Oyo (November 21), Borno (November 25), Enugu (November 28), Bauchi (November 29), Sokoto (December 4), Delta (December 12), Kano (December 17), Adamawa (January 4, 2027), and Lagos (January 9, 2027).

Vice President Kashim Shettima, party leaders, and campaign council members will represent the President in the remaining 24 states. The campaign strategy aims to balance high-level executive duties with direct public engagement across the six geopolitical zones, ensuring key regional hubs like Port Harcourt and Asaba in the South-South feature prominently on the presidential schedule.

Addressing party executives and campaign stakeholders regarding his selective appearance schedule, President Tinubu emphasized that national governance responsibilities must remain uninterrupted throughout the campaign season:

“Nigeria needs more attention now than ever before. The responsibility of this office does not pause. The job must go on. However, I will still make time to speak directly with Nigerians, even as you lead the campaign in the states and local government areas. So you will excuse me from going everywhere with you.”

With the official release of the campaign calendar, the ruling APC is set to launch full-scale political mobilizations across the country as the election season gathers momentum.
