KADUNA, Nigeria — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has launched a sharp criticism against political opponents, asserting that previous opposition leadership laid the foundation for the prevailing economic hardship, hunger, and poverty facing the country.
Speaking on Saturday during an official engagement in Kaduna State, the President dismissed criticism directed at his administration’s economic policies, insisting that his government is actively working to dismantle the structural challenges inherited from past administrations.
Addressing political leaders, party faithful, and supporters, President Tinubu defended his reform agenda, describing his political rivals as “failures” who have failed to present concrete, workable solutions to the populace.
”I hear my opponents talking about hunger and poverty. Who created it? They did. They created the hunger. They created the poverty. We are trying to eradicate it,” President Tinubu said.
”Our opponents are angry because they are failures. They have nothing to offer you but a mere claim. We have prosperity, consistency, growth, recovery and opportunity,” he add
