Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is slated to lead a major gathering of female political leaders and grassroots advocates in Abuja as the All Progressives Congress (APC) launches early preparations for the 2027 presidential election.
The high-level gathering—tagged the Women Stakeholders’ Mobilisation and Empowerment Pre-Inaugural Campaign Roll-Out—is organized by the Women Mobilisation Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council. Organizers expect over 20,000 women delegates from across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
According to an official statement, the summit will take place at 8:00 AM at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja under the theme “Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0: From Reforms to Prosperity.” The event will launch the campaign’s official rally slogan: “One Voice, One Movement, One Choice, One Mandate 2027.”
Director of the Women Mobilisation Directorate, Dr. Betta Edu, revealed that the initiative aims to build an expanded political footprint to secure 40 million votes from female voters for President Bola Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima in the upcoming general election.
