ABUJA, Nigeria — The New Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) will formally present its financial statement and unveil its National Campaign Council (NCC) on Monday, October 26, during its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja.
The announcement was made by the party’s National Chairman, Moses Cleopas, who confirmed that the proposals submitted by the National Working Committee (NWC) will be ratified during the session.
The party leadership disclosed that the newly structured campaign organization will be all-encompassing, covering Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship, and State Houses of Assembly campaign councils to streamline operations ahead of the upcoming electoral cycle.
In addition to launching the campaign council, the NDC will publicly present its financial statement—a move the party describes as a commitment to fiscal discipline and total transparency, while challenging opposing political parties to do the same. The meeting will also feature the official issuance of Certificates of Return to the party’s validated candidates contesting various elective offices.
Reaffirming the party’s readiness to present a viable alternative to the ruling party, the leadership maintained that it remains focused on building an inclusive political structure to deliver accountable government.
”Beyond the presentation of its financial statement, the NEC meeting will feature the unveiling of the party’s National Campaign Council, an inclusive structure designed to coordinate activities across all levels,” the party stated.
”The NDC is turbo-charged and ready to give Nigerians the altruistic leadership the nation deserves,” the leadership add
